Catharine Burkett is a seasoned private markets executive based in Atlanta, currently driving venture capital and private equity growth through the State of Georgia’s Invest Georgia program. With over 30 years of experience across manager research, fund-of-funds management, and strategic due diligence, Catharine previously served as Co-Director of Alternative Investments for Georgia’s Retirement Plans and as Director of Private Investments at LCG Associates. She holds a BA from Queens College (Charlotte) and an MBA from Xavier University, and has built a reputation for structuring high-impact partnerships, optimizing portfolio performance, and nurturing emerging fund managers.
